Small Business Reviews
When it comes to managing the reviews of your small business, the importance cannot be overstated. A strong online presence contributes significantly to the success of any business, but this is especially true for small businesses. As such, it’s important that you create a system for collecting and responding to customer reviews in order to maximize your brand’s reputation and influence.
Create a Systematic Process for Responding to Reviews
The key to an effective review management strategy is creating a systematic process for how you respond to customer feedback. The best way to do this is by assigning one person or team within your organization the responsibility of acting as ‘review police’, who can monitor feedback coming in from all channels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.) and respond in a consistent manner. You should also ensure that someone from your team responds within 24 hours of receiving a review – this shows customers that their opinions matter and encourages them to keep engaging with your business.
Focus on Positive Reviews
Rather than trying to eradicate negative reviews (which is impossible), focus instead on emphasizing positive customer experiences by encouraging users who have had good experiences with your product or service write reviews about them. By doing so, you can fill up search engine results pages with positive reviews more quickly than if you were simply hoping that those happy customers would leave unsolicited reviews.
Collect Reviews Through Multiple Channels
Make sure that customers can easily submit their thoughts regarding their experience with your app or website through different channels – email surveys and social media should both be considered here as well as other more traditional forms such as paper survey cards placed at checkout counters in physical stores or interactive kiosks at sales points located primarily outside of stores. This allows you can gather feedback from people who may not want (or even be tech-savvy enough)to leave an online review.
Analyze Your Reviews For Insights
Once you have gathered all of these customer reviews it is vital that you take the time analyze them for insights into potential areas of improvement for your small business. Look at trends in complaints or praises about particular products or services and use this data when making decisions about changes or updates relevant tactics being used in marketing efforts going forward – these changes could have a huge impact on overall customer satisfaction which directly impacts revenue growth!
